Vergence is a training & consulting agency based in Sri Lanka with internationally certified resources. We believe in enabling essential life skills that schools and vocational institutes do not teach.

Vergence was founded by Dimitri Pieries on the explosive truth that changing one’s thinking is the most powerful step one could take. The evidence of this is in the delightful results of our clients’ transformational journeys. Seeing others thrive is our ultimate goal.

About Dimitri Pieries

Dimitri is an entrepreneur, a certified trainer, certified business & life coach. As a former hospitality professional with over 10 years of sales experience in the US and Sri Lanka (including two Fortune 500 companies); he also carries a wealth of people and business skills that are helpful to his clients.

Coupled with his international and local training in mentoring & counselling, Dimitri employs empathy, passion and critical thinking to help clients identify barriers, break through and move towards their life goals.

Having once struggled with finding fulfillment in his own life, he wants to help others by sharing the lessons learned from his own failures. In journeying through a maze of self-help resources, options and skills, Dimitri finally encountered a liberating truth: identity is the first step to a meaningful life.

He uses his experiential learning as a vital part of all programs. He is passionate about helping others in their life journey.
